More about Pearse Street
James Pearse arrived in Dublin in 1860 from Birmingham to work as a sculptor and formed the premises on Brunswick Street in the 1870's. His two famous sons - Patrick and William - kept his business alive after his sudden death in 1900. Both were executed later for their part in the 1916 rebellion.
