More about Kalle Ryan
Kalle Ryan is a writer and performance poet from Waterford, Ireland. He is also resident MC and funnyman at the monthly brownbread mixtape show, a free monthly poetry, comedy & music show in The Stag’s Head pub. Kalle’s plays and poetry have been published in New York City and Utah and he penned the brilliant song “My Blood is Boiling for Ireland”, the Irish Times alternative national anthem competition winner. In the past year he has performed his poems at notable literary festivals such as the Dublin Writer’s Festival, Electric Picnic, Imagine Festival and the Flat Lake Festival. This powerful poem, written in New York, bears all of Kalle’s trademark intensity and honesty throughout.
