Lisa Marie Griffith
Custom House quay
The legend of the Ouzel Galley is full of drama and surprise, as Dubliners faced the problem of pirate booty. The chamber of commerce traces its history back to this ship and its bizarre fate. Here Lisa Marie Griffith, an excellent historian who currently works at the National print Museum, tells the full tale.
