More about Fallon's

Fallons has a long history, stretching back to the 1790's at least, when the thoroughfare was popular among french Huguenots. Dan Donnely, the prize fighter/ hope of the country, owned the bar in 1818. He soon drank himself to death but the story of his travelling right arm has become legendary (and is also found on Storymap). The famous blind singer Zozimus was known to frequent the pub in the 19th century. Today, it is one of the best preserved old Dublin pubs - a quiet pub perfectly poised between the Liberties and the main city.
